THE FALSE LIGHT
The False Light is a term used to explain a deceptive or misleading aspect within spiritual experiences. It is referring to interaction with lower astral beings, trickster beings or humans channeling these beings, which might initially seem genuine or enlightening, but ultimately prove to be misleading, dark or false.
It’s a lesson for each of us to learn in these times, so we can recognize Holy Light from the false light. To understand where the information you take in is coming from, spiritual discernment is key. It can help us in the following ways:
Distinguishing Truth from Deception: Spiritual discernment aids us in discerning between authentic teachings, experiences, or ideologies and those that are deceptive or distortions of Truth.
Guidance in Decision-Making: Often, we seek guidance from our spiritual beliefs when making important life decisions. Discernment allows us to align our choices with our values and higher purpose.
Avoiding Spiritual Pitfalls: Discernment helps us identify and avoid spiritual paths or practices that may seem appealing but hinder genuine growth.
Personal Growth and Transformation: Spiritual discernment fosters self-awareness and personal growth by helping us to recognize our strengths, weaknesses, and areas for development.
Resilience in Challenges: A strong sense of discernment provides inner strength and resilience in facing life's challenges, allowing us to find meaning and purpose amidst difficulties.
Authentic Connection with the Divine: Discernment is crucial for building an authentic connection to the Higher Forces and understanding Divine guidance.
In essence, spiritual discernment is necessary and supports us on our spiritual journeys, enabling us to navigate complexities, make wise decisions, and deepen our understanding of ourselves and the Divine. Having experience with the false light allows us to understand what it is and how it feels, in comparison to the Holy Light of the Divine. It’s not something to be ashamed of or embarrassed by, we all experience the false light at one time or another, if we are seekers on the spiritual path.
So, how can we cultivate spiritual discernment? Developing spiritual discernment involves cultivating a deep understanding of ourselves, our beliefs, and the world around us. Here are some practices and principles that can help:
Self-reflection: Spend time in introspection to understand your values, beliefs, and motivations. Reflect on your thoughts, emotions, and experiences to gain insight into your spiritual journey. Journaling is a wonderful way to put this into practice.
Mindfulness and meditation: Practice mindfulness and meditation to quiet the mind, increase self-awareness, and develop inner peace. These practices help you become more attuned to your inner voice and intuition.
Study spiritual teachings: Engage in the study of spiritual texts, teachings, and philosophies that resonate with you. Reflect on their meaning and how they apply to your life.
Seek guidance from spiritual mentors or leaders: Seek out mentors, spiritual leaders, or wise individuals who can offer guidance and support on your spiritual path. Their wisdom and perspective can help you navigate challenges and deepen your understanding.
Cultivate discernment through critical thinking: Develop your critical thinking skills to evaluate information, beliefs, and experiences critically. Question assumptions, seek evidence, and discern truth from falsehood.
Practice discernment in decision-making: Pay attention to your intuition and inner guidance when making decisions. Trust your instincts and seek clarity through prayer, meditation, or reflection.
Live with integrity and authenticity: Strive to align your actions with your values and beliefs. Live with integrity, honesty, and authenticity, which will help you develop spiritual discernment and inner wisdom.
Stay open-minded and humble: Remain open-minded to different perspectives and experiences, recognizing that spiritual growth is a lifelong journey. Stay humble and acknowledge that there is always more to learn.
Connect with nature: Spending time in nature is connecting with the divine. Grounding, connecting with the early morning sun, walking in the fresh air, or swimming in the ocean are all wonderful examples of ways to start the day. This nature-divine connection can deepen your spiritual awareness and enhance your ability to discern truth and meaning.
Practice gratitude and compassion: Cultivate gratitude and compassion towards yourself and others. These qualities can foster spiritual growth and deepen your connection to the divine. A gratitude journal is a great place to start.
By incorporating these practices into our lives and remaining committed to our spiritual journey, we can develop spiritual discernment and cultivate a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world around us.
